Buying
Buying From StraightRange
Which Land Rovers do you stock?
We regularly stock Series I, II and III models, together with Defender 90s and 110s, including 200Tdi, 300Tdi, TD5 and the final 2.2 Puma models. We also maintain a selection of both right-hand drive and left-hand drive vehicles.
What if you don’t have the vehicle I’m looking for?
If we don’t currently have the Land Rover you’re looking for, our extensive network enables us to source exceptional examples and prepare them to your exact requirements.
How are your vehicles prepared before sale?
Every vehicle is thoroughly inspected, prepared and road tested in our own workshops. We don’t simply buy vehicles, prepare them cosmetically and put them up for sale — we believe every Land Rover deserves the time, attention and expertise required to ensure it’s ready to be enjoyed from the moment you take the keys.
Do you offer finance, part exchange and delivery?
Finance, part exchange, nationwide delivery and worldwide export are all available.
Selling
Selling Your Land Rover
Do you buy Land Rovers in any condition?
We’re interested in Series I, II and III Land Rovers, Defender 90s and 110s, 200Tdi, 300Tdi, TD5 and Puma models, together with both right-hand drive and left-hand drive vehicles. We also welcome restoration projects and unfinished builds, recognising the potential that others may overlook.
How do you arrive at a valuation?
We’ll assess every vehicle on its individual merits and explain exactly how we’ve arrived at our valuation. If your Land Rover isn’t right for us, we’ll tell you. If we believe it’s worth more elsewhere, we’ll tell you that too.
What does the process involve?
We offer fair market valuations, prompt decisions, nationwide collection and a hassle-free process from beginning to end. If you’re not quite ready to sell, we’re always happy to offer friendly advice with no obligation.
Builds, Restoration & Servicing
Work Carried Out In Our Workshops
Can you build a Defender to my own specification?
Yes. Whether you choose one of our carefully sourced donor vehicles or ask us to transform your own Defender, our experienced team will guide you through every stage — from colour selection, interior design and trim through to suspension, wheels, lighting, performance upgrades and finishing touches.
Will I be able to follow progress during a build?
Throughout the build we believe communication is just as important as craftsmanship. Regular photographs, videos and progress updates allow you to follow your Defender as it takes shape.
What work does your workshop carry out?
From routine servicing and MOT preparation to engine rebuilds, gearbox repairs, suspension upgrades, diagnostics and recommissioning. Our services also include full restorations, chassis work, electrical repairs, paintwork restoration, corrosion protection and bespoke upgrades.
Can you retrim an interior?
Our Trim Shop creates bespoke interiors using premium leather, Alcantara and carefully selected materials — from complete retrims and dashboards to headlinings, carpets, cubby boxes, soundproofing and bespoke stitching.
What happens after I collect my Land Rover?
The handover is only the beginning. We continue to support our customers with servicing, maintenance and future upgrades, ensuring your Land Rover remains as enjoyable to own as it was on the day you collected it.
